Bar-B-Que Station: A Must-Try BBQ Destination in Independence, LA

Oh my gosh... what a great experience! We ate outside under the old gas station canopy in the summertime. This was our first time here and we ordered a variety of food to get a good sample of their style. Son number one got a blackened chicken sandwich that wasn't dressed as ordered... but he still enjoyed it. Son #2 is a little younger and had the kid's burger and is already asking when we can return! My daughter got the roast beef on bun and raved about the gravy. The wife's salad was full of more croutons than lettuce and a little disappointing, too bad she didn't get the brisket salad. And finally, I had the brisket burger, not the ultimate... but it was still the ultimate! Hands down.. it is my new favorite burger. We will definitely be back... and soon.

Phenomenal BBQ. The owner was very welcoming. The staff was very warm. They worked very hard to get through the rush that I brought them. I brought them a bus of 56 passengers and they work through it with ease and great coordination. No one in the group had to return food all the orders were correct. Everyone food was hot and fresh off the grill. Give this location 10 stars.

The brisket sandwich was good, I wasnt a fan of the sysco bun but the meat definitely made up for that soggy mess. The coleslaw was ok, very typical coleslaw at any restaurant, nothing special. The tea was good, I had no problem cutting it with some unsweetened tea.

I really like this place. I've passed by many times and finally stopped by. It's an old gas station and pays tribute inside with a moral and original garage door. I had the brisket poboy and it wouldn't fit in your mouth! Girls had hamburgers and they are not the little Jr burgers. She ate half. Will return!

The food was incredible. The gentleman that delivered the food was friendly- the service was a bit slow but okay. Green beans and baked beans were to die for. A lot of restaurants only focus on the mains but not the sides. This place got the right balance down. The beans were not sweet and it have just the right kick.

Bar-B-Que Station exceeded expectations with its mouthwatering menu. The flavors of their barbecue dishes are exceptional, offering a perfect blend of smokiness and tenderness. The staff is friendly, creating a welcoming environment. A must-try for barbecue enthusiasts!

First time trying the food here and was little worried since I have yet to find a good bbq place, best bbq I’ve had since being in Louisiana. Thank you

Cashier was very friendly and didn't rush me when I was trying decide what to order she even suggested a different way to order to save me money. I ordered the $50.00 special and the ribs were cooked just right with the right amount of seasoning they were soooo delicious as well as the barbecue sauce. The baked beans were awesome and the potatoes salad was very delicious as well. I will definitely be ordering from this place again
